(LBSNAA).

Applications are invited for the appointment 
to the Post of Sr. Programmer in Pay Band-3 
Rs.15600-39100 plus Grade Pay Rs.6600 on 
promotion/deputation (including short-term 
contract) basis. Eligibility conditions i.e.
qualifications and experience, period of 
deputation and duties etc. are as indicated 
below:

1) Name of the Post : Senior Programmer (No. of post:1)

                 Rs.15600 – 39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 6600
   
   Method of recruitment : Promotion/ Deputation 
           (including short-term contract) Basis
   Classification : General Central Services, 
                    Group 'A' Gazetted Non-Ministerial
   1. Officer of the Central Government/State Governments
      /Universities/Recognized Research Institutes/
       Public Sector Undertakings /Semi-Government/
       Statutory or Autonomous Organisations :-

Essential Qualifications:
A(i) Master‟s Degree in Computer Application or 
Computer Science or M.Tech.(With specialization 
in Computer Application) or Bachelor of 
Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in computer
Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Technology
from a recognised University or equivalent.

ii) Five years experience in electronic data 
processing out of which at least two years‟
experience should be in actual Programming; 

or

B (i) Degree in Computer Applications/Computer 
Science or Degree in Electronic/Electronics
and Communication Engineering from a recognized
University or equivalent.

(ii) Seven year‟s experience of Electronics 
Data Processing Work out of which at least
three year‟s experience should be in actual 
Programming ; 

or

C(i) Masters‟ Degree of a recognized University 
or equivalent or Degree in Engineering of a
recognized University or equivalent.

(ii) Eight years‟ experience of Electronics
 Data Processing work out of which at least four
years‟ experience should be in actual Computer 
Programming; 

or

D(i) „A‟ Level Diploma under DOEACC Programme 
or Post Graduate Diploma in Computer
Application offered under University Programme
/Post-Polytechnic Diploma in Computer Application
awarded by State Council of Technical Education or
equivalent.

(ii) Eight years‟ experience of electronic Data
Processing work out of which at least four
years‟ experience should be in actual Programming
2. The Departmental Programmer (Reprographic) 
with Seven years‟ regular service in the
grade shall also be considered alongwith 
outsiders and in case he is selected for
appointment to the post the same shall be
deemed to have been filled by promotion.

Age Limit:
The maximum age limit for appointment 
by deputation (including short-term 
contract) shall be not exceeding 56
years as on the closing date of 
receipt of applications.
